busy, busy,busy!

I can't believe that I've gone a whole month without writing anything. Well my only excuse is that I'm really busy. I just go from one thing to the next. Today we had my company's Christmas Party. It was a lot of fun, but we had it at the Golden Corral. I even wore my levi's so that I wouldn't over do it, But I feel stuffed. Maybe when I take my jeans off...............? Dad still seems to think he's a young man and decided to change a tractor tire by himself and his back has really been hurting him since then. Sure had fun on Thanksgiving day. Although I wonder if any of us really noticed the 90's as they were going by. And now Christmas is upon us!!! Wow where did this year go. I love you all. Be good.

Slackers

Well I just went through all my kids blogs to see what was up and found out they were their mothers daughters after all!!! None of us has posted in a while. I am really gratefull actually, because this tells me that we all see each other or talk regulary so we don't know what to talk about when we do blog. We are trying to get ready for winter. Dad has been working on the tractor so he can plow snow. I've been looking at my flower beds thinking I really should get them cleaned up. I can't believe how quickly time flies. It seems I never stop running. It also seems like 'the hurrier I go, the behinder I get'. Our neighbor has been doing a lot of fishing, and he has given us some beautiful trout. So today we get scalloped potatoes and fish for dinner. How mundane. Well life is good and I've really enjoyed this fall. It has really been beautiful. I can't wait for Carolee and John to get moved and settled out this way. I'm also looking forward to the Seegmiller reunion in Idaho in August. (First weeked) I'm thinking after this one we will start to move the site around again. Maybe we will all go to Boise or something. I'm a fortunate woman. I have a great family--Seegmiller, McClure, and Children.

Another week!

Well it's actually sat. night and I'm getting my blogging done!!! Sure had fun at the game Fri. afternoon. What a beautiful fall we are having. I could go on like this for a looooong time. I'm sure it is no surprise to anyone that I'm not looking forward to winter! Is it o.k. to toot my own horn just a little? The company I work for has been in business for 20 years, and we just had a nice celebration. Our own office in A.F. started a new thing called "Employee of the year" and guess who got it? ME!!!! Boy was I surprised. Mike asked how come they gave it to me and I assured him it was because I was gooood. It is always nice to be recognized for your efforts, so it means a lot to me. As you all know we are kind of having a hard time right now, but through it all I have learned to rely on the Lord more and more. He has been very good to us lately and I am thankful for it. This next Fri. I get to be the escort for my friend as she takes out her own endowments. What an honor. I really do respect her for keeping on keeping on after her husband passed away. Friday will be a good day, and in a year I hope to be going back to see her sealed to her husband. Awesome. And Auralee, I'm glad to give you such pleasure by saying I love you to everybody. 'CAUSE I DO! (Text color to honor Juab.)

Life

Life is funny. Sort of. Had a great time last night with my family, well 2 1/2 of my family. I so enjoy them all and always wish Carolee was closer at this time. I'm smart enough to know that it isn't always possible to have everyone close, and I know that in the future, things change and people move on, but I understand my own mother now when she used to say, "I wished you all lived next door to me". The party was fun though and I liked doing it on Friday night, cause you all can stay later! I took another little job. I go next door and do data entry/quality control in the evenings for my neighbors. If I were home, I'd just be watching t.v. so this way I sit on my butt and earn a little extra money. kind of nice. Dad's out hunting again and I hope he is successful. Never thought I'd look forward to butchering a deer!!! Well I love all my kids and grands, and if you aren't family, but looking at this site, I probably love you too!!!!

Yes I still live

Hello to all reading this message. It is general conference sunday and dad is out elk hunting. He won't be back till the end of the week, unless he gets something. I sure pray he does. We need all the help we can get. Conference has been good. I am reminded that nothing matters if we aren't in tune with our father in heaven. He loves us and wants us to be happy and fullfilled. All we need to know is that we are happiest when we are holding to the iron rod and not allowing the things that the world thinks are important, to run our lives. We must always allow God to direct our lives. We need to stay close to him. Well Enough Preaching!! I have finally surfaced from the peaches and pears. I even put away my canning supplies. I'll gladly get them out if dad gets a deer in deer season, otherwise I'm done!!! YEAH!!!! I cleaned the house yesterday, it felt good. I had a sad week at the end of the month. My friends' husband passed away. He was only 59. Kathys' heart was broken, but she is a strong woman and I know she will move forward. She is already planning on taking the next temple prep class so she can be sealed to him. I am certainly reminded that life is short and none of us can be guaranteed tomorrow. I hope we will all remember this as we live our lives and choose wisely the paths that we take. I love you all, my children and grandchildren.

Time to myself

Well I got home today about 3:30 and except for about 3 bushel of pears staring me in the face I don't have anything to do for a bit so I thought I'd let everybody know what's up. I saw Amber the other day. I told her I was sorry that she and Avrum couldn't make their marriage work and that I hoped she could be happy. The boys gave me big hugs and I said I'd be glad to take them any time even if she was going out on a date. She said that maybe we could work something out. So we'll see. I feel better though because now she can't get it in her head that I'm a ----- and that I hate her. She can't blow things up in her mind. Hopefully this will lead to a greater chance at seeing the boys. Life is sure funny isn't it. Just when you think you have it figured out, it throws you a curve ball and you get another lesson on who really is in charge. I love my kids and grandkids and just want everybody to be happy. Oh yeah, Happy anniversary to dad and I. 39 years!!!!!!!

Life

Well life is certainly never boring around here. My life is so mundane though that I don't have much to say. It's like jounaling; I never do that either. I was thinking about my kids though and I had to say a prayer of gratitude. All of my kids have taught me life lessons. I always thought that I could figure out most things for myself, but my children teach me each day. Thanks to my kids. I love them all!!!

More pictures, more great views. The one of Mike standing on the edge, he doesn't go around the corner there, he goes down!!

Well, my toenail fell off. I'm sure that is newsworthy somewhere. In spite of the difficulty of the hiking that I did, (I say I because it wasn't too hard on Mike) the trip to Glacier was great. The scenery was awesome and the views stupendous. The camera really can't take in the vistas that we were priviledged to see. I truly love glacier.

Wha????

Hey everybody talks about blogging but what we need is a little action!!! Dad is out doing is dedicated hunter thing and I'm here trying to clean house. It's not happening very fast. Emily put the house on Craigs list for us and we've had two calls, one of which was a showing. Let's cross our fingers. I think my Mom is "up there" using her skills to my good. I was able to see Avrum and the boys for a few minutes while we were out there. He says he is happier now than he has been in a long, long time. He and amber are filing for divorce and going to have joint custody of the boys. When the house sells, he thinks he'll move to coalville. I feel optomistic that the house will sell and then life will go on. (Sort of). Keep praying.

Home

Well Polly and I went to Idaho this last week. We met Bonnie there and helped daddy give the house a good cleaning. It let me know that momma had been ill a long time for the curtains to get so dirty and the dust to get so deep on top of the cupboards. She never would have let it get so dirty. Daddy has done such a wonderful job keeping up and taking care of momma. We were glad to go and help him get caught up. When we were done, we took a couple of long drives around the countryside. One was down to Orofino. We drove up Orofino creek and then went over to Chase's Flat. Wow our houses were small!!! The one on Chase's Flat was for sale and no one was living there so we got out and snooped around and looked in the windows. Mom and Dad raised 7 of the 8 kids is this 3 bedroom house and the one up Orofino Creek only had 2 bedrooms! We are spoiled today.
Polly and I were worried that the drive would be too much for us because we had never done anything like that before, but Polly drove all the way up and I drove all the way home. It was great fun. I have great sisters. My brothers are also great. I am indeed blessed to have such a wonderful family. I added another picture from our trip. I should have been filming the whole trip. The scenery was beautiful.

A great day

Well Sam and Emily, Mike and I went wheeling today. It was a good time. Then of course we had to eat so, steak and garden salad was in order followed by strawberry ice cream (homemade of course). It was a good day and I really feel refreshed. With my calling as R.S. Pres. I am going to have to learn how to pace myself and not let the calling pace me. I really find it interesting how much I love the sisters in the ward and most of them I don't even know their names. The Lord does work in mysterious ways. I'm looking forward to the 20th and our family get together. OH YEAH---what do you think? Pictures AND a friends and family list on here. I may have this down one day.

Well....

Here I am again. I've got the blog part down I think, now I need to figure out my pictures. This, I think, is going to take a while.......I'll keep smiling.
Hi, this is me trying to be smarter than a 5th grader who could run circles around me on a computer. Everything I learn takes twice as long as it would if a 5th grader did it. but here I am!!
